AQUI Y ALLA
Pedro returns to his daughters (now older and distant) and his wife in a small Mexican village after years of working in the US. It takes time for the family to learn to live together again and work is not plentiful. With some of the money saved in the US, Pedro sets out to fulfill his dream: establish a band and play at local events. Winner of the Cannes Critics\' Week, director Esparza, in his debut feature, subtly and effectively delineates home and locality in a moving meditation on migration.
